Pentecostalism is a movement of Protestants among Christian communities of the world for the right of direct personal experience of God. These Protestants are the believers of Holy Spirit within the human body. Pentecostalism is based on the experience God and not only on the basis of rituals. Wesleyan Methodism is the methods of the same views thus it has affected the Pentecostalism movement as well. This methodology is somehow similar to the Pentecostal movement and the interconnection of these methodologies has changed the history of the Christian religious history. In this following essay it is needed to be described about the Pentecostalism and the effects of the Wesleyan Methodism over the Pentecostal movement and the access of Pentecostal believers to these methods of Wesleyan believers.

Christian religious communities are believers of God in the manner of rituals and the father of the church is the connector of them towards the God. However, they did not have the access of the experience of God directly. However, the Pentecostalism believers believe in the direct connection to the God by the holy spirits within themselves. They believe the dynamics of the Holy Spirit within them which gained through the Baptism (bbc.co.uk, 2009). The Pentecostal churches emphasises on the conversions that is the Baptisms into the spirits. According to Robeck (2017) they believe the direct experience of God can be obtained by the gifts of spirits like speaking in Purcell tongue, prophecy and healing. Pentecostalism is not a church but a movement believed by several churches.

Wesleyan Methodism is a methodology of the Christian community devised by John Wesley and the Wesleyan church separated from the Methodist church and merged with the Pilgrim Holiness Church on 1843 (Zavada, 2018). This methodology is believed on the trinity of the Christian religion that is the bible, salvation through atoning on death of Jesus Christ, good works as the faith of regeneration, second coming of Jesus Christ, bodily resurrection of death and the final judgement. This Protestants also believe in the direct experience of god which is different from the Methodist church methods of UK. Donovan (2017) opined that the Wesleyan methodology works in the ways of sacrament and the worship service. They believe in the Baptism for the atonement towards the death of Jesus Christ. They seek salvation through this process. On the other hand the worship service took place in the Saturday evening or in Sunday morning every week by means of prayer or songs and this church is based on missionary structure.

The Pentecostal movement of the Protestants were believers of the direct experience of God and not the ritual based religious factors. The Protestant movement were affected by the Wesleyan methodologies as they are more or less same believers of the Baptism faction. The covenant and traditional rituals of the Christians are nullified by these methodologies as the religious factors of Catholic and Methodists are persistent with the knowledge of God and the rituals of the Church thus believing in the Father of the Church as the medium of God (bbc.co.uk, 2011). This methodology of the religion was protested by the Pentecostal movement of the Protestants and the Wesleyan believers in the ending of nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century. Based on the views of Phillips & Riches (2018) the Pentecostals and the Wesleyan methodologies are similar in different sections such as they both oppose the ritualistic experience and try to acquire the direct experience of God, both these methods are based on the text of Bible and believe that the words of Bible are the word of God and the most important thing is that these two response towards the religion on the basis of the dynamics of the Holy Spirits within the human body and acquiring by the Baptism process.

These two methods are mainly two different Protestant groups however; these two are interrelated by their methodologies towards the God faction of the Christian religion. According to Black (2016) the Wesleyan Church after separating from Methodist Church merged with the Pilgrims Holiness Church and at present they acquired their system in almost 90 countries including UK, Welsh, Australia, USA and others. Dyer (2017) opined that they serve God with a huge community under their methodological belief. This factor could be the reason for the Pentecostal movement’s take the ideas of the Wesleyan methodology as they inter connected with this huge community of the Wesleyan methodology. The inter connection of these communities are the base of the Pentecostals and the Wesleyan methodologists to interchange their ideas. As the Wesleyan methods of the Christian religion is older in age it can be said that the Pentecostal methodology take the idea of these methodology in the progression of their Protest against the traditional rituals of the Christian communities of the world. The Pentecostal protest started at 1867 when National Holiness association formed in Vineland, New Jersey and progressed all along till now as the number of believers of this faction is rising (Synan, 2019). The Pentecostal movement has the strong knowledge about the Holy Spirit and thus they work on the basis of the Baptism and direct experience of God. According to Lovett (2018) the origin of the Pentecostal movement is described as black or evil by the traditional believers of the Christian religion as they believe in Baptism and direct connection with the God and the origin of these Protestants are in West that is in American continent. Based on their views the direct connection towards God cannot be possible that is why the Father of Church or the Pop of the Roman Catholic Church are the ones who connects the humans to the God. However, the Protestants are the non believers of these traditional factors and they believe in the faction of Holy Spirit and that could be the effective connectional medium of the humans and the God. This Holy Spirit faction could be gained by the Baptism of Holy Spirit inside the human body.

Wesleyan methodology also acquires the same faction of direct connection of the God and the humans by means of Baptism and atonement for the death of Jesus Christ. These two Protestant factors are developed on the basis of the Baptism and the missionary structure. Donovan (2017) opined that the Methodist Church faction was protested by the John Wesley methodology and thus the Wesleyan Methodist Church was separated from the Methodist Church of UK. This methodology acquired by the thinking about the human and God connection directly. The direct experience for the humans by the atonement and the sacrifice for the God faction were also developed by this methodology. The missionary structure of this faction helped it grow in 90 countries which is a huge number. The believers of these factions are interconnected with other communities of the Christian religion and thus the Pentecostalism believers also acquired the ideology of this method by means of interaction between the community members.

The Pentecostal believers are the protestant of the structure of the traditional Church faction and held the ideology of the Wesleyan methodology and they gained the believer number day by day which is now approximately over several billions. The Baptism of Holy spirit within the human body for the direct experience of God and the opposing of the rituals of the traditional faction of the religion was labelled as the evil conduct by the traditional believers. However, it did not affect the growth of the Pentecostal protestant numbers all over the world. According to Kay (2016) the Protestants that are the Pentecost lists are the believers of the knowledge of spirits for the development of the direct experience of God and they also believe the Bible words as the words of God which is similar thinking of the Wesleyan methodology believers. These two methodologies are interrelated in terms of the thought process of the believers. The development of the Protest against the traditional God faction of the Church was inevitable for the believe of several communities and that grows into the separation of the Wesleyan Methodist Church and the Methodist Church several years later the same mental state of several communities of American Christian society put forward the Protest against the traditional Church system in the name of Pentecostalism which was basically based on the vision of the Wesleyan methodology. Based on the views of Phillips & Riches (2018) the worship of God by the Pentecostals is different from the traditional believers in many ways as they are the believers of the Holy Spirit faction over the traditional rituals. The Holy Spirits are needed to be acquired in the human body by means of the Baptism of Holy spirits in the Pentecostal movement whereas the atonement for the death of Jesus Christ is the main Baptist culture of the Wesleyan methodology Zavada (2018). Thus it can be said that the two beliefs are different in some points however, the basic thinking for the experience of God is similar in nature for both these factions. The development of the Pentecostal movement is dependent on the views of the Wesleyan methodology as they are the both sides of a coin in the factor of the Protest against the traditional Christian religious factors.

In 90 countries where the Wesleyan Methodist Church established developed the Community of Christians with the similar mental factors and thus the missionary structure of the Church is helpful in the development of this Baptist community. The Pentecostal movement is a Baptist movement as well with the similar views of the Wesleyan methodology and both these factions are originated from black origin stated by the traditional believers. However, the believers in these factions are growing in number as the direct experience of God is the main factors in these methodologies. The worship of God in these factions is developed on the basis of the faction of Baptism and the atonement for the death of Jesus Christ. The communities believing the Wesleyan methodology are more than at least 20 billion that is why the interconnection of the believers of these methodologies is inevitable. The development of Wesleyan Methodist Churches in the Western part of the world that is in American continent and the development of the communities in the American continent would be main cause of the development of the Pentecostal movement as the influence of this methodology (Synan, 2019).

These methodologies have changed the cultural aspects of the people of the world for the religion as the methodologies differ in many aspects from the traditional rituals of the Christian religious society. Based on the views of Vondey (2015) these cultural changes occur mostly in the Western part of the world and in time the European countries also affected by these thoughts of the Protestors. Cartledge (2016) opined that the missionary system of the Wesleyan methodology also affected the Pentecostal movement and resulted in the recreation of the movement as well. The movement after recreation by this methodology changed in the Baptism pattern and the cultural and social aspects of the Pentecostal movement. According to Clarke (2016) the interests of the methods of Pentecostal Baptism and the worship methods are raising the minds of people of UK as well on the basis of the development of the methodology on the basis of the Wesleyan methodology.

It can be concluded on the basis of the essay that the Pentecostal method of the Protestant Christian society is influenced by the Wesleyan methodology in case of the Spiritual worship of God. The Baptism and the spiritual direct experience of God are the main factor for both the factions and the interrelation of growing number of community of both the factions helped the Pentecostal Protestants to absorb the methods of the Wesleyan methods of the Christian community. Thus the cultural and the social aspects of the Christian society has changed by the influence of both the Protestant methodology and the interest in these methods of Baptism for Holy Spirit acquirement in the human body grows in the people of the community.
